Founder Partner

Jacopo Villatico Campbell is the strategic founder of Casco Development & Partners (CD&P) and has been active in the real estate development of Casco Viejo, Panama, since early 2007. As a founding partner of CD&P, he has led the company’s growth, specializing in the development of residential and mixed-use projects.

With 25 years of experience in the real estate sector, he has a strong background in business strategy, business development, and planning, as well as a deep understanding of real estate economics and finance. His mission is to create sustainable and innovative solutions that enhance the quality of life and the environment of the communities served.

As a co-founder of CD&P, he has been involved in the development of over 200,000 sqm of projects with a total investment value exceeding $500M. Since the beginning of his career, he has also led major investments in Paris and London, with a rental portfolio in Germany valued at €250M. Additionally, he has worked at a high level with an SFO managing more than $5B in assets.

Alessandro Pighini
Founder Partner

Alessandro Pighini is an investor and entrepreneur with dual Italian and Swiss citizenship, boasting over 20 years of experience across investment banking, real estate development, private equity, and asset management.

 

As the Founder of Casco Development & Partners, he leads the group’s investment strategy and capital formation, overseeing a NAV of over $200 million. The firm's mission is centered on urban regeneration, with a focus on rehabilitating mixed-use historical buildings, developing high-rise hospitality projects, and creating a technology hub. To date, Casco has developed more than 70,000 square meters of real estate, contributing to vibrant, sustainable communities in high-growth markets.

 

In addition to his role at Casco, Mr. Pighini serves as a Partner and Member of the Investment Committee at Sienna Private Equity, a pan-European buyout fund managing over €400 million in assets. The fund targets mid-sized companies in high-growth sectors, combining strategic capital deployment with deep operational expertise.

 

Previously, Mr. Pighini spent a decade at Deutsche Bank Corporate and Investment Banking, holding senior roles as a Structured Finance specialist, where he was directly involved in the execution of over $5 billion in transactions across the London and Paris offices. He graduated summa cum laude from LUISS Business School in Rome and completed internships at Pictet Asset Management and Compagnie de Trésorerie Benjamin de Rothschild, both based in Geneva.

Her career includes strategic roles in high-impact entities, such as General Director of PROMTUR Panama (2018-2020), where she led the planning and execution of international tourism promotion campaigns, negotiating key agreements with airlines and international operators.
